 About me
My passion is to be creative, to imagine and realize new ideas. I like the artistic as well as the technical side. Since a very young age I have been fascinated by movies and the creative process of making them.
In 2002 I founded XSI Base, a portal site for Softimage|XSI users, 3D animators and visual effects artists.
Since then it has over 20,000 members and I Interviewed over 100 leading artists and professionals from companies such as Pixar, ILM, Weta, DreamWorks, Blue Sky, EA, Ubisoft, Studio Ghibli, Stan Winston Studio, Pandemic, Blur Studio, Capcom, Konami, Softimage etc. including 4 time Oscar winner Stan Winston and VES Founder Tom Atkin.
I also helped to set up the XSI user groups for Los Angeles, San Francisco, London and Montreal.
Since 2005 I have been living in Los Angeles and got the chance to work as a digital artist and previsualization animator on feature films such as Superman Returns, The Incredible Hulk, Stay Alive and others.
I am a regular contributor to the Computer Graphics Magazines 3D World, HDRI3D and VFXWorld.
